Handling Examination Stress

Handling Examination Stress

Tension before exam dates is a common condition noticed in students. We often get worried on the night before an examination day. Normal stress levels are natural for any student like us.The extra stress that one experiences during this phase often leads to intense physical disorders. These are the common physical symptoms noticed before an examination day:
  • Lack of sleep
  • Frequent headaches
  • General tension and irritability
  • Giddiness
RIGHT?

THESE SOLUTION CAN HELP !

Examination stress and tension can be handled effectively by practicing very simple routines before exams. The practical solution for handling exam stress is to plan a study time-table in advance. This prevents pre-exam jitters.

Also, one must focus on the chapters and areas about which one is not too confident. At times, students tend to become needlessly hyper just before exams.

Goodluck to our Midterm Examination!!! We can make it through the guidance and blessing of our almighty.. :)

BUILDING CLOSE FRIENDSHIPS

As human beings, we are naturally drawn to one another and we crave attention and love from each other.

Building close friendships doesn't always happen overnight We need to be attracted to others for a list of different qualities that they possess. Everyone has their own unique qualities and these qualities help to make a friendship stronger and bring two people close together. Some of the common qualities people look for in a friend include the following:

  • Honesty
  • Reliable person
  • Speaking positively about others
  • Thinking of others before themselves
  • Being respectful to others
  • Listening
  • Helping friends through problems
  • Caring about their feelings
  • Common interests
  • Being nonjudgmental

To build close friendships, take a list of some of the qualities that you bring to a friendship. If you have lost past friendships, list some of the reasons why those friendships ended. Perhaps you need to make a few changes to become a better friend. Try listening better or stop complaining so much about your personal problems (that is what a psychiatrist is for!) Make a list of the things you need to work on to become a better friend and start improving yourself. Making changes to your personality won't be easy so you may want to consider professional help that can support you and encourage you with your commitment to become a better friend. Set weekly goals for yourself and adjust your schedule if you get off track. Remember to praise yourself for working hard to build stronger friendships.

Make a list of the people that have touched your life. Why were these individuals so inspirational in your life? How can you become like them and touchin this manner? Spend time with your friends and have heart-to-heart conversations with them, this is one of the best ways to develop deeper friendships.

It's rewarding to take the time to build deep friendships with others but there may be times when you have chosen the wrong people to connect with. Watch out for friends that become abusive to you by taking advantage of the friendship. Here are some "red flags" to watch out for:

  • Your friend is constantly borrowing money or asking for several favors without returning them.
  • They gossip about others and are known as a "backstabber"
  • They tend to tease you and are not sensitive to your feelings
  • They expect you to drop all your plans and spend all your time with them
  • They are very needy and clingy to you
  • They are dishonest

Friends should be there to support you and make you a better person. They bring qualities to your life that you may not have and this helps to enrich your life in some way. Seek out people that you like to be around and that you can have a good time with.

SONNET 15
YORE THE ONE

I had given up on this love game,
I never thought I'd feel the same,
But then you walked into my life,
Given me hope, that I would have a life,

My old love gone, but new love grows,
My love for you, each day it shows,
This smile is fixed upon my face,
Now that your here I feel in place,

The clouds clear, the sun starts to shine,
I feel so lucky that your mine,
So much to offer, so much to give,
The rest of our lives together we'll live,

Someone can finally wipe my tears,
Hold me close and always be bear,
Be there for me when I am sad
Cheer me up and make me glad,

The rest of or lives are about to start,
My love for you is deep in my heart,
I know for a fact that your the one,
My love I've found, my search s done..

My Family

FAMILY TIME, TEN TIPS..

Families are spending less and less time together. As a result, many children are getting less personal love and attention than their parents did.

The following family time tips will help you stay better connected with your children and partner. Keep in mind, quantity and quality time is important when choosing activities. So build memories around exciting events and keep your family time creative and enjoyable.

Hope that it can helps you to have a happy family as mine.

1. Eat Together and Listen to Each Other

Most children today don't know the meaning of a family dinnertime. Yet the communication and unity built during this setting is integral to a healthy family life. Sharing a meal together allows the opportunity to talk about each other's lives. This is a time for you to listen, as well as to give advice and encouragement. Attentive listening conveys a message that you are really interested in them. It also imparts a sense of worth and helps develop trust. Therefore, listening is a critical link in successful parenting.

2. Read Often

It's important for moms to read to their children. The latest research indicates that reading to your children cultivates an interest for knowledge and stimulates language development. It also increases their attention spans and helps them become more curious. Look for books that your child would enjoy reading. After reading, ask questions about the content.

3. Do Chores Together

Part of what goes on in the home is the development of teamwork. Functional family life depends on the contribution of everyone. Assigning chores is the most productive way of teaching responsibility and accountability to your children. Doing chores with your children will help foster good communication skills.

4. Help with Schoolwork

A great way to spend quality time with children and light a fire of learning is to help children with their schoolwork. A mother's eagerness to help will cause a child to become more interested in school thus improving his or her grades. Regular trips to the library for school projects is an inexpensive and enjoyable way to spend time with children. Helping should begin with an understanding that children are responsible for homework. You are there to help your children get organized and to encourage them when they get stuck -- not to do their work for them.

5. Start a Hobby or Project

Choose a fun activity that your children are interested in. Activities like cooking, crafts, fishing or biking will make great hobbies that can open the door to exciting family time. Once a child learns a new recipe or is able to cast a lure accurately, let him or her take the lead -- with your supervision.

6. Play Games

New technology has made video games more prevalent. As a result, many children are spending long hours in front of the TV playing computer programs. Parents should find creative ways to spark an interest in family-oriented contests such as board games or card games. This will give parents additional time to talk and nurture their relationship.

7. Plan a Family Outing

Sometimes just getting out of the house is a great revitalization for your family. Hop in the car and go for a drive together. Prepare a picnic lunch and visit a local park. Take time to play catch or ride a bike. Take a walk through the woods and talk with your kids about what is going on in their lives. Visit a zoo or museum to spark their enthusiasm and discuss what interested them most.

8. Encourage Athletic Activities

It is vital for children to exercise. Athletic activities will not only strengthen the body, but will also build character and determination. Whether it's pitching a baseball or playing tennis together, finding time for athletic events is important for your children's emotional and physical development. Plus, it's a great opportunity for your family to interact.

9. Create a Family Time Calendar

Since many moms have hectic schedules, time with their children often becomes a low priority whether intended or not. Post a calendar on the refrigerator and have you, your husband and your children plan special events together. Knowing when you're going to meet may also help you think of creative activities. Commit to keeping this schedule free from interruptions.

10. Pray and Worship Together

Nothing is more special than taking a few minutes each day to pray with a child before bedtime. By explaining the purpose behind prayer, children will learn the importance of faith as the foundation for the family. Attending a church will enable children to interact with godly people and encourage them to live virtuous and disciplined lives. When a mother and father go to religious services, they instill in their children a reverence for God. Churches can also offer invaluable support to families.

I love you, not for what you are, but for what I am when I am with you!!!
The best thing about me is you.

....Some say its better to be single
because, you're free and no one can make you
cRy!

But, dont they realize that its much better
having someone makes you free but stops youwhen your
out of control....

Would make you cry, But then
wipes your tears ..
and makes you smile..

And would flirt with you ..
But you know its only you..

that's the reason why I'm glad and contented to be with you..
